Located at the mouth of the scenic Cape Cod Canal, Massachusetts Maritime Academy offers seven majors: Marine Transportation, International Maritime Business, Marine Science, Safety, and Environmental Protection, Emergency Management, and three Engineering programs - Energy Systems, Facilities, and Marine Engineering. All students participate in hands-on learning experiences such as our annual sea term, co-ops, experiential learning courses, internships and civic engagement. The ultimate goal: preparing cadets for a career. Cadets gain knowledge and experience during their undergraduate studies that affords them the opportunity for immediate employment after graduation. The Academy also includes the unique experience for students to be members of the Regiment of Cadets. The Regiment includes high standards of conduct, regimental-style uniforms, and structured days. The Regiment is balanced with NCAA and ECAC Division III athletics, as well as, clubs, club sports and intramural.
