If you have an unweighted GPA of 3.7 in high school, you probably earned mostly low A's in your classes. A 3.7 is a very good grade point average. It means you earned better grades than the average high school student.
There are many excellent colleges that accept students with a 3.7 GPA, including large universities like CU Boulder in Colorado, Michigan State and Missouri State in Springfield, Missouri.
Some of the top liberal arts schools in the country also have a 3.7 average GPA, including Colgate in New York, Conn College in Connecticut and Whitman in beautiful Walla Walla, WA.
