How you define a good SAT score depends on your goals, the colleges you're applying to, and your other qualifications. In 2020, the average SAT score was 1051, which was down slightly from previous years. Many of the top colleges and universities are happy to see applicants with a 1500 or higher on the SAT. There are many great schools that accept students with lower than a 1500 though.
