Founded in 1833, Kalamazoo College is among the 100 oldest colleges and universities in the nation. Located within walking distance of downtown Kalamazoo, Michigan, K offers a competitive advantage to many small colleges in that it provides a vibrant small city environment with ample options for community service, employment and entertainment.
There is plenty of action on campus for our 1,369 enrolled students from 41 states and 34 countries, with 18 NCAA Division III varsity athletic teams, 80+ student organizations, weekly College-wide events, an active music, art and theatre scene, and opportunities for social justice and community engagement work.
